Camping

The camping field is going to be bigger for the 2011 festival and will have working showers and cold running drinking water. The carpark will be totally separate from the camping area and there will not be any camping in the carpark field! Organisers are hoping to have a separate field for camper vans where tents can also be pitched next to these vehicles.

Kids area

The Kids corner will be back in a larger marquee.

New for this year is the 'Silent Disco' venue and the late night adult punch and judy show will be back in 2011.

Croissant Neuf at Watchet

It is expected that green event leaders Croissant Neuf will return to the Watchet Festival so that one third of the festival can be solar powered. The second stage will be run by Croissant Neuf which has run the stage in the Greenfield's site at Glastonbury Festival and will host a wide range of acts, DJs', and workshops. The Croissant Neuf section of the festival will be powered by a 10-tonne solar truck, which is something the festival organisers are keen to build on in the future. Other changes to this year's event are the expansion of the camping site, as well as showers in the campsite and flushing toilets in the quiet family camping area!.

On-site Bars

The real ale bar and Cider Island will make a return alongside Thatcher's Cider and Cotliegh Brewery towards the festival. The on site bars are run by the festival to keep the entrance price as sensible as possible.

Watchet

Watchet was an Old Port which has now been converted into a modern marina. It is centrally located near to Exmoor National Park, the Quantocks and there are plenty of beaches. It is also possible to travel here by boat from Cardiff.

More information will be here when available.
