This year marking it's 11th edition, the Waterlooville Music Festival is a cultural and musical event in East Hampshire, taking place from Saturday 11th to Sunday 19th June 2016.

The festival's focus is on popular classical, but a wide ranging programme is offered which in the past has included heavy rock and folk music, songs from the musicals, through to weighty classical organ pieces.

Line-up

With around 50 concerts all together, taking place throughout the day and evening all week. The first acts confirmed are HMS Collingwood Volunteer Band, Havant Borough Council Gala Concert, Langstone Big Band, The Hayling Choir, The Festival Scratch Choir, Eucharist Musicians, Organ Recital, Roderick Starr, St Peter's RC School, Mumbaba for Toddlers, Baroque Ad Hoc, Revel Weird and Wild, Robbie Rich, Hampshire Police Male Voice Choir, Danielle Clark, The Octaves, Bourne Community College, Palm Court Tea Dance, Paul Taylor, The Foreverly Brothers, Bands on the Lawn, Last Night of the Proms featuring The Meridian Winds Concert Band conducted by Don Lloyd.

A ticket for all concerts is priced at £32. Daytime concerts are free. Evening concerts require tickets, priced from £1 to £5 depending upon event.. Tickets are required for evening concerts, £6 on the door, £5 in advance, Last Night of the Proms £8 (advance only).
