Whitwell Festival of Music is a small village festival, now in its 10th year, happening in and around the Community Centre, Whitwell which is in north Derbyshire. The 2019 festival will take place from Friday 6th until Sunday 8th September.
The festival offers 3 stages indoor and outdoor (2 music plus spoken word stage), real ales and ciders, caterers, craft stalls, workshops.
Line-up
Acts announced so far include: Graham Olivers Army, Jungle Lion, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, Ed Tudor Pole, Canadians In Space, Blackballed, Cabronitas, Common Culture, Cinematics, Wilswood Buoys, The Crooked Crows, Herds, The Sweet Trees, The Endings, Basket Case, Sam Tucker?, and many more.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult weekend: £35
under-18 weekend: £17
adult Saturday £20
under-18 Saturday: £10
caravan pitch: £20
tent pitch: £15
Camping
Camping is available on a basic site 2 minutes walk from the main festival.

The festival is organised and run by volunteers, and proceeds from ticket sales are donated to Cancer Research and local community groups.
The festival also offers real ales, caterers, craft stalls, workshops and open mic opportunities.
