The 11th Wirral Folk on the Coast Festival now called Wirral Folk Festival will take place from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th June 2015 all at one site on at the Whitby Sports & Social Club, Chester Road, Whitby, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

Line-up

Acts booked so far (subject to contract) are Fairport Convention, Cara Dillon Band, Richard Digance, Chris While & Julie Matthews, The Houghton Weavers, Blackbeard’s Tea Party, Kieran Goss, Harvey Andrews, Elbow Jane, Urban Folk Quartet, Reg Meuross, Other Roads, Merry Hell, Sunjay, Anna Shannon, Simply Dylan, John O’connell, Kim Lowings & The Greenwood, Jess Vincent, Eilidh Grant, Fiddlestone, The Cheese Cutters, Alterego, and Celtic Knot. Plus more to be confirmed.

The early bird offer has ended. An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £93 (or £79 without camping), a teen (aged 11 to 16 years) weekend ticket with camping is priced at £47 or £40 without camping. Children aged 11 years and under can attend for free as long as they are accompanied by an adult. A student weekend ticket with camping is priced at £83 (or £73 without camping). Day tickets are also available.

Camping

Camping is restricted to Weekend Ticket holders only. The campsite will be on well-drained fields to the rear of the premises which also includes a large hardstanding area. Access will be from gates on Dunkirk Lane. The campsite has toilets, and showers.
