Women of the World takes place from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th March 2014 at London's Southbank Centre and offers a weekend of talks, debates, performance and activism celebrating women and girls.
Line-up
The first acts confirmed include Ronnie Spector, Serafina Steer, Anna Merdith, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Gaggle, Gabriela Montero, Collectress, and Lyrically Challenged Collective.
Speakers include Vivienne Westwood, Ruby Wax, Cush Jumbo & Juliet Stevenson, Bridget Christie, Ruth Ozeki, Malala Yousafzai, Jónína Leósdóttir, Gina Rippon, Vicky Pryce, and Fiona Woolf
Shows include Motherland by Vincenet Dance Theatre, Yael Farber's work Nirbhaya will be performed, and Ntiense Eno Amooquaye will perform her new writing, plus mass speed mentoring, Sandi Toksvig's Mirth Control, a night of Criptease, poet laureates night, under 10s feminist corner .

Tickets are priced at £30 for a three day pass or vary depending on event.

Now in its fourth year, WOW - Women of the World - is a celebration of the formidable strength and inventiveness of women - a pioneering, groundbreaking annual festival, which will present, recognise and celebrate women, and act as a conversation space for issues of all kinds. WOW also celebrates International Women's Day.
Through a series of debates, conversations, networking opportunities, presentations, showcases and places to meet and talk, Wow -ÂÂ Women of the World celebrates the potential and achievement of women and addresses some of the obstacles that women face across the world.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
