Wychwood Festival is a very family-friendly, intimate and inclusive for audience and musician alike, blending world, roots and contemporary music, and encouraging new collaborations. There's also comedy, workshops, and more. Wychwood returns to Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire to celebrate it's 10th birthday on Friday 30th May until Sunday 1st June in 2014.

Line-up

The latest additions are Pretty Rascals, Stylusboy, Bunsen Honey, Emma McGann, The Fallows, Duplex, Nina Baker, Jet Pack, Haus, No Ceremony, Racing Glaciers, Bela Takes Chase, James Michael, and Ran Kan Kan.

Friday's headliners are The Stranglers, Levellers will headline the Saturday night, and Boomtown Rats top the bill on Sunday on the main stage, with Reef, King Charles, Lee Thompson's Ska Orchestra, Gabby Young and Other Animals, Baraka, Craig Charles, The Real Thing, Newton Faulkner, Gentleman's Dub Club, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, 10CC's Graham Gouldman's Heart Full of Songs, Bad Manners, Gaslight Troubadours, Thrill Collins, Wolf Alice, Benin City, Pixel Fix, Racing Glaciers, La Chiva Gantiva, Bipolar Sunshine, Glitches, Lloyd Yates, Sam Garrett, Phoria, Merry Hell, and Polly & the Billet Doux, A Way With Words, NewQuay Times, The Uke Junkies, Black Hats, KSH & The Going Goods, Sadie & the Hotheads, Railroad Bill, Robbie Boyd, The Vinyls, The Funky Jets, FTSE, Kyla la Grange,Fe, Champs, All Ears Avow, Bleachroom, Flee, Lost in Bat Country, Blue Horyzon, Spoils, Shaq Douglas, Pat Orchard, Crossing Adam, Beat Harlows, Julian Mensah & Andrew Amofa, Emily Lynn, and Tom Spice.

The Wychwood Music Festival boasts four music stages with over 100 bands, plus comedy, 100 workshops and events for all ages, kids literature festival, healing and sculpture gardens, The Headphone Disco until the wee hours, great food and real ales, and much more.

Adult weekend tickets are priced at £125, weekend disabled (2 for 1) tickets are priced at £125, youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £100, and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £60. Tickets for children aged 6 to 9 years old are priced at £20. Children aged 0-5 years can attend for free.

General camping passes (charged per person) for an adult weekend/disabled ticket is priced at £20, a weekend youth/concession camping pass is priced at £10, with those aged under 16s able to camp with grown ups for free. A campervan pass is priced at £60 with no additional camping passes needed.

Kids entertainment

Wychwood offers fantastic fun for kids, and hosts a literary festival with authors and illustrators, kids' favourite characters, a multitude of making things, playing with stuff, learning, education, workshops, dance, and much more, and all free with no need to sign up, just drop in and join in the fun.

Kids Literature Festival

The Lit Fest tent returns in 2014 and will once again feature kids authors and illustrators, and this year sees the return of the Roald Dahl Museum and their ream of animated storytellers.

Wychwood Festival will be welcoming authors and illustrators including Korky Paul, Tony de Saulles, Philip Ardagh, Jo Cotterill, Jo Nadin, John Dougherty, Wendy Meddour, Christpher Edge, Karen Langtree, Petr Horacek, Tom Percival, Jo Empson, Julie Fulton and Michelle Robinson.

Workshops

There are numerous workshop venues, and with over 100 events over the weekend both inside and out for adults, kids and families featuring dance, theatre, fitness, nature, musicianship, singing, puppetry, photography, circus skills arts and crafts and much more.

Wychwood is a festival not only of music, but crammed full of other things for attendees to see and do, from comedy to cinema, and from workshops to the healing gardens, and attracts all generations to enjoy a weekend of easy festival going.

The festival is expected to continue with the same camping set up, whereby you will be able to drive up to your camping pitch, and unload your camping gear right by where you are setting up. The campsite is flat, and always in great condition. Then emptied cars must be driven off the campsite and to the car park. After the festival, you'll be able to drive back to your pitch to load up.
