I was really excited to see AFI, but when the crowd barely seemed to look up, and Davey looked genuinely pissed off, my enthusiasm drained quickly. Same happened in 2013 with Gaslight Anthem, hardly anyone seemed to care that they were playing. Both bands would have done far better on second. -

Well they should ahead been booked in a different position. I'm a big fan but I can't pretend they were ever big enough for a 3rd down mainstage spot at Download, 4th down would have been the max. I would put them headline or maybe even subbing the Avalanche myself. -

Yes, seen him several times and puts on a good show. Lovely sunny afternoon and the opening bars of Summer of 69. 😊. Great tunes for a sing a long, essential for a legend.
