I used to like Avalon's smaller venue. Was it just called Avalon Cafe? But I heard somewhere that it's not there any more. -

A number of the artists playing Manchester Psych Fest on the Saturday of EOTR also appear on the bill for Edinburgh Psych Fest and Brighton Psych Fest on the Friday and Sunday - the bigger acts that only seem to be playing the Manchester date are Goat, WH Lung and Nadine Shah, so hopefully the latter two might also be on the EOTR bill (and maybe some of those playing all three dates could feature on the Thursday of EOTR) -

It's a shame that the diner went, but the booking policy in the big tent seems fairly consistent with the way it was 10 - 15 years ago.
