Car Parking this year

Hi all, does anyone know what the situation is with parking this year. It was an absolute nightmare last year dropping off gear and having to walk miles with stuff in shuttle runs. Can we drop our gear off at our camping spots like 2006 or is the format gonna be like 2007?

Hi there - You can drive closer to where you camp this year. Its says this on the website -

On arrival, you will be allowed to drive on several perimeter roads around the camping areas, close to where you would like to pitch your tent. Cars must then be removed to the car park.

Was a nightmare last year, lugging stuff for miles! :-)

It's currently holding up ok...so the current plan is as mentioned in these posts...though it was too windy to put the big top up today! We'll advise nearer the time but this weather is currently set to ship on out in a day or so and the weekend to be warm and dry...we have a contingency plan which means you'd still be able to drive onto the campsite perimeter road, so get within say 40m of where you are going to camp. in this eventuality....so either way it should be ok, and we'll update in our newsletter this week, on the website and here....
