I listened to Kissmet on their website before the festival www.kissmet.co.uk so knew what to expect, i thought they were even better live they were tremendous, i put in the Bella feedback that they should bring Kissmet back next year and give them a better slot. I emailed them telling them i thought they were awsome, they Ron (keyboard/singer) said they loved the festival and would love to come back, i've included one of the email response i got,

"Hi Alan,

Thanks for that very positive feedback. Sometimes, it's hard to gauge what

sort of reaction we get as it's all hell for leather on the night but if

people still like what we do after they've had a chance to calm down a

little, it means a lot to us. As you say, Scotland is very energetic and

passionate, as are Punjabi people in India but it's a side not often seen of

the Sikh nation. Hence, we try to educate people and make them realise that

the book and the cover don't always match and there's a lot to us than meets

the eye. Sometimes, I think the Punjabi's are the Scottish of India, if

that makes sense. A minority in terms of the whole country but what we lack

in terms of population and territory, we make up for in terms of heart,

happiness and honour.

It'd be great to do something at Rockness and maybe even T in the Park but

we'll see what happens next year. When the new album comes out, the website

will see a major revamp and T Shirts, flyers, posters, badges, etc will be

available online, as well as all our back catalogue. We're just at the

stage of sorting out distribution at the moment but as soon as something's

available, we'll be contacting everyone we know to get them on the

bandwagon.

I hope you don't mind if I add some of your comments to the guestbook? Or,

perhaps you could write something yourself? Your comments are well thought

and structured so they would make a nice addition to all the other things

people have said about us. One day, when we're all old and grey, it'd be

nice to look back at those and think about the fantastic journey we're on.

And the Newsletter's a good idea, certainly something we'll look into. 2009

looks set to be our biggest year yet so everything has to be in place soon.
