llcoolphil
It will further knowledge. And by knowledge, I mean reveal the limitations of various theories, thus providing new ones. Nothing else.
worm
Yes you said it would further knowledge. You also qualified it and said it would provide new theories. I say it will provide more than just theories
llcoolphil
Are you suggesting that new things may come into being as a result of these new theories? Because I didn't exclude these things, as they are a product of knowledge and theory. But in terms of the collider, the knowledge and theory will be all that is affected directly. Semantics perhaps. Often is with me and thee.
worm
I thought it was a particulatly obtuse way of saying something to someone who was genuinely seeking information they could understand and the use of 'that's all' on the end would, I felt , have been entirely confusing for them. Thats all Edited September 10, 2008 by worm
llcoolphil
And saying bollocks to me compensates for that? Okay. It's just how I see it.

I wonder what would happen if they put a worm inside and spun him round at the speed of light.. what strange and wonderful things would be created
