Look - I had a MASSIVE rush of blood to the brain when I read that comment above, and what I said was pretty moderate compared to my initial reaction, so if you don't want me rushed to hospital I suggest that you just don't talk to me, and I won't talk to you, ok?

I was not threatening you (unfortunately "ignore" doesn't work when not logged in) - just expressing surprise that nobody has thumped you, if you act like you do on here in day to day life.

EDIT: This comment...

Why dont you either f**k off or grow some bollocks you f**kin mardy arsed twat? I was asking a genuine question and to avoid you thinking otherwise in childish radar f**kin world I pointed that out. Feet weren't on your throat but if you dont want to have what you post discussed STOP POSTING IN A FORUM CALLED DISCUSSIONS AND STOP POSTING PROVOCATIVE BOLLOCKS LIKE 'IDIOT SCIENTISTS'. WHICH f**kIN BIT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

llcoolphil - are you a scientist working on the lhc? Because if not your reaction was a bit ott for a throwaway comment from someone who, like most of us, clearly doesn't understand exactly what they are hoping to achieve, but who's attention has been drawn to the (albeit very unlikely) potentially apocolyptic outcome of the experiments.

What's the theory that Stephen Fry talked about?

That time travel is possible but you need to ends (like a telephone) which is why we don't have time travellers just now and that the Collider is going back in time to stop itself from working when it was meant to this year.

I'll go with that.

EDIT - No way paulevs!!!!! haha

If you took out all the mass that the entire human race possess and combine it all together, it would be a physical size no bigger than a sugar cube.

:P

I saw that Alan Davies programme too. :P

But anyway, with this idea that a proton can be in two places at once is the possibility that it's not really that but smaller sub-particules that we've not clocked yet. It gives an alternative scenario which stands up .... to the little I know anyway. :P
