Quick question, tried emailing FiberFib but no reply.

Girlfriend's ticket says 01/01/1970 as date of purchase on the side of it, while mine says the actual date that i purchased it.

Bought it from LastMinute.

Has this happened to anyone else? Will it be a problem?

It'll probably be fine! is it one of those tickets with a barcode that they just scan? if so (ive never been but i presume) they wont heavily inspect them, as long as no one's scanned the bar code or anything.

i got a print at home one which looks really dodgy because its just a bit of paper and also says 'Mr Mark Lennon' because I paid for it with my dad's credit card hah, i am most certainly not a 'Mr.'

My first time this year too and I'm also going myself!! I saw the headliners (particularly K.O.L.) and thought I just had to be there! Not sure if it's wise, but hey, will soon find out! You camping?

Ive been hearing a lot about the campsites at benicassim filling up very quickly, and I know this sounds like such a stupid question, but is it just the case that it becomes very difficult to find a decent space, or do they shut off the campsites at capacity?

I'm spending the monday night in barcelona, before getting the train through on the tuesday. Would I really be struggling for space by then?

Gettin a group together to go too! Can't wait.

Going for an apartment cause I've done the whole "bake in a tent" thing before and I'm not keen to repeat it :)

Anyone know what the story with bringing drink into the festival is? Even water? Usually bring one of those Hydration Packs with me (or a bag in a backpack if I'm poor). Would they be allowed?

Sorry, this might be a really stupid question, but I've been trying to find out which campsite is which and where they all are - are the 3 camps you mentioned all on-site near the festival arena? Which is the best one to get into?

My bus is due to arrive at 7pm on the Monday so should I be able to get into one of the decent ones?

When i went in 07 there was 3 camp sites, last year just 2.

They are very specific about where you camp and try and make sure every last bit of the campsite is full, arriving Tuesday you'll get a space nee bother, even on the Wednesday you'll be alreet.

Must do's

Buy a lilo or inflatable matress to sleep on, Highly recommended

Take a trip to the water park its mint, also you can have a shave and that in the changing rooms

the foods canny there aswell

Get a cool box for your booze during the day/early evening

Have a walk about the town, canny little place

At least have a TRY to speak SPANISH, it takes very little effort and even if its just the basics it will help greatly when ordering food etc, afterall we will be in Spain and not England.

Have a mint time with your mates, it will be one of the best weeks of your life

Go to the footy match on Saturday

Enjoy the festival and have good crack with anyone you meet

Dont

Be a twat

Hoy Lager about, its 6 Euro a Litre ya know!!

wer from liverpool but flying from manchester to girona!iv read all the posts about the distance so am aware of all that, was jus wondering if you's thought it would be better to get a coach from a firm, think i seen sum1 offeren 30odd euros each way frm girona to beni or stick with the train or bus? iv flew to girona and made my way to barcelona centre before so im sure i will be allrite with that but prob get lost after there! :huh: jus follow the crowds!!! thanks xxx

also wots the camping and atmosphere like before the festival starts?im flying on the 12th so will be there right frm the start wen campin opens on the 13th!thught it wud be gud to make the most of it and stay all the way through :huh:

Monday and Tuesday are generally quite chilled out what with people arriving and all, Wednesday people are all excitable and probably drink too much, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday welll by the end of that everyone is pretty frazzled. In general though I'd say the camping is much more chilled out than say the build up to Glasto.
