You seem to be going EVERYWHERE this summer! Did Latitude last year and had the best time but wanted to try something different this year. Still pleased with my single festival choice as the Latitude line-up, whilst infinitely better than at the time of the Headliners announcement and all that vitriol (blimey people were cross!), doesn't grab me nearly as much as last year. Still my beloved iLiKETRAiNS are playing...but I get to see them in October anyway and still am hoping for an EOTR announcement...

I don't think there is you know. On DiS Sophia posted a list of some of the bands they had tried and hadn't been able to get and said that the only missing piece in the jigsaw now was the Sunday headliner - all other slots having been filled. Based on that I think there's just the one name to go.

Having said that...

Just did a quick rough count of the music acts announced for '09 thus far and it's running at under 80.

The number of acts last year was well over 90, according to the list.

I still think there might be a couple of interesting spots left to fill...

...Though having also said that - I just read the entire message you were referring to. Does sound like it's only the Sunday left to announce. The only other way to read it is that the other slots have been filled and sorted, just not announced and they'll be part of the next announcement.

I've veered back to your way of thinking though.
