Swindlebiscuit
Sorry to ramble on... Are we sure that the complete lineup has been announced? The reason I ask is that looking at the per stage information we have the following: Garden Stage: 21 slots The Big Top: 23 slots The Local: 17 slots Bimble Inn: 24 slots That is a total for EOTR 2009 of 85 slots across all stages with 82 individual artists playing (3 playing two stages). Looking at the 2008 lineup I see that there are not only more individual artists (98) but a lot more slots too (100 not including DJs etc): Garden Stage: 24 slots The Big Top: 27 slots The Local: 23 slots Bimble Inn: 26 slots Longer sets? Smaller festival all round? I know i'm sad but thought i'd ask...still hoping for Anais Mitchell to be pulled out of the bag...she was touring with The Low Anthem after all! DragKnuckles
Maybe I should read previous posts before posting dooooops... Cheers Swindles. No Anais Mitchell then...one day...one day I say!
Swindlebiscuit
Like you say though - would be interesting to know if that means later starts, longer sets, jugglers and fire-eaters in between acts etc etc

SweepingTheNation
It's really one less slot per day so I'd assume it's longer sets, as the blurb has always maintained that's one of the strengths of EOTR. Plus these promised Local surprises...

Alex Capes
The music line-up on the site now is complete (the couple of bands added in the last day were not new additions but were ones I had missed when adding artists to the website). Elfy
Can I assume that everyone saying they've got tickets means they've bought them, not that they have them in their grubby mits, otherwise I'll start getting worried........ Bought mine about 3 days after last year's fezzie, not expecting tickets til early September.......
SweepingTheNation
Just noticed Shearwater play on the Friday and have other dates on the Saturday and Sunday, while Okkervil River are in Oxford on Friday and for some reason have both weekend days down for EOTR. That's bad planning on Will and Jonathan's parts, isn't it?
