I have a friend who works at the Lamer Tree gardens (where the festival is being held) and says he has heard rumours that ELO will be the third headliner

I think this is pretty odd considering they haven't played together for several years now (I think), but it's just what I heard from him.

I'd be happy with the Decemberists. If I could choose anyone it would have to be Leonard Cohen but 'would have thought that beyond the realms of possibility.

Saw Tuung and Tinariwen last night,what a great gig that was.I thought it was Tuung supported by Tinariwen.But it was Tuung With Tinariwen all night.Great combination of each other's music.Was thinking how great that would sound at Eotr.

Anyone else think Andrew Bird is likely? He's playing Green Man Festival a few weeks before, and there's a chance he might stick around for EOTR.

Would love a bit of Portico Quartet and EOTR...those young guys are amazing...saw them a couple of years ago and was blown away.

Watched Jools the other night and The Mummers were on there and sounded really good.Quirky Orchestral pop stuff sort of thing.Checked out where they were playing and they're down for EOTR! Worth checking out I think,perfect for an afternoon slot on the main stage maybe?

A news story has been posted on the site today about a Sons of Noel and Adrian tour, so the organisers are definitely still living and with us. I'm really hoping for an announcement tomorrow - the last two were both on Tuesdays and there was six weeks between them. And seeing as it's been six weeks since the second announcement, we're in with a good chance .

Having spoken to simon recently I know he is keen to get a couple more artists on the bill before the next announcement...there's some good names on it you'll just have to trust me!
