Doubt I will be going again next year, cutting down the festivals and fancy going back to Lowlands again in August.

was good this year banterwise only band i went to see were Scouting for girls, one night only and 28 jacks that i remember

Would love to go back to Bella next year but at the moment its not looking likely. I don't really fancy the journey on my own and don't fancy train/bus with the wee one. Wickerman seems like an easier option travel wise

Who knows though, my love for all things Bella might tempt me back there

Well, I'm certainly planning to go. It will be my fifth Belladrum and I can safely say that Bella is more than just it's line-up!

Spoke to Robert Hicks last weekend at Loopallu, spoke quite a bit about Belladrum and it will be around for a good few years yet so may go back in the future

Good news as there were roumours he was losing intrest, i was really sceptical this year when i saw the line-up(only three bands i wanted to see)but i have to say it was the best festival i attended this year, did he drop any hints on headliners

And he also said that 4 months before Belladrum him and Joe were thinking of packing it in, but gladly they didn't.

Mentioned other stuff too but not going into that on a public forum (as he might be reading as I told him to start posting )

Belladrum Tartan Heart has also introduced a new 'On-TICKet' scheme which allows buyers to pay a deposit to secure their tickets and then the balance by Friday 1st May 2009.

I wonder if there's a fee for this.

Just noticed its £30 deposit.. fair enough but it's non-refundable which is pretty shite if you later decide you can't make it for any reason

At least Glastonbury give you the deposit back if you can't go (minus £10 admin fee)

Not sure what the situation is with Rockness tickets though with their deposit scheme (£30)

Plus there's a fee of 10% per ticket plus £4.95 postage. I'll wait until nearer the time and buy them from the Booth or get my pal to get them through his Royalties account.
