Glastonbury Wristband.

I cut them off when I get home and scrub up but always keep them in a folder with all the other material (ticket, programmes and newspapers etc) from each year's festival.

The real problem is the car park windscreen sticker. It may be cool for some but can also be an invitation to P.C. Plod to take more than a passing interest so I try to remove it afterwards.

The trouble is that the glue is probably the same stuff that they use to stick the heat protecting tiles onto the outside of the Space Shuttle and they are really hard to remove. A few years ago the problem was solved when my windscreen got smashed and had to be replaced.

Since then each year I laminate my windscreen sticker and then sellotape it onto the windscreen so that it can be removed as I drive away from Glasto. It then goes into my souvenier file.

I managed to slip mine over my hands without damaging it. I'll probably stick it on eBay in June and hopefully get silly money for it. I saw some 2007 ones selling last year for £50+!

i did have glasto 07, reading 06,07 but had to cut them off, only got reading 08 still now;(

I've still got '08 on.Since '02 I've kept the wristband on until I'm in the next Glasto.Then I cut it off and throw it away.It feels like an important ritual.It focusses me on having fun in the here and now.

I've kept 07 and 08, managed to slip both off and keep them on my car keyring, would never get rid of them, took me ages to squeeze 08 off, lots of stretching sessions in the shower but couldn't bring myself to cut it off!

I still have my 2008 one on and managed to keep my 2005 one on for more than a year! My mum made me take it off for my graduation photo!!! I did put it through the wash and then sew it into my wedding dress as my 'something old' for my wedding last year though!!

I still have 04, 05, 07 and 08 wrist bands on. 04 and 05 aren't looking like they are gonna stay on much longer though

still got my 2008 band on, my reading 08 fell off, it looked crap anyway. Ive got my 03,04,05,07, and reading 07 and 08 bands on a all in one sewn up elastic bit thingy ma bobby anywho, the bands is why i go to a festival anyway lol

I'm still wearing last years Glastonbury, Reading & Bestival wrist bands. All the others were plastic so I took them off after the summer.

Love the idea of sewing it on your wedding dress

I have my 07 and 08 one on but had to take my 05 one off as I was a bridesmaid for someone and they didn't want me to wear me Glasto band (why?!).

I was wondering if this year the guys who put the bands on would re-attach my 05 one, what do we think?

I feel sad that I have the other 2 on and that one is sitting in my 05 scrapbook.

... although, I do find the whole keeping festival wristbands on all year (or several years) really, really odd - usually take mine off within a week and stick it up on the wall with the others....
