In 2022 I had a very up and down festival with a toxic friend (no longer a friend.) We went to see Paul Mccartney for the legend factor and quickly realised it wasn't my vibe, my toxic friend went off to bed and I disappeared into the night. Ended up getting really drunk at Jessie Ware on the Park stage, danced really hard, had a wild night in the SEC... not sure if it was Jessie or feeling free in many ways but it was a 10/10 night.
Can't wait to do Glastonbury this year without said friend!
Last one I never mentioned from last year for me is Lucy Rose's album. It's dead lush and has a great jazzy neo-soul sound with some beautiful sounding piano. Got a very personal theme as well, about the range of emotions that come with childbirth. Beautiful album - best one she's ever done imo.
