I wouldnt be surprised to see more details later tonight as Neil said.

it's possible I guess (I only repeated what a tip-sheet had said they thought would happen), tho I reckon that this is where Eavis's comments about acts having their own shows to sell kicks in, and nothing will be announced (I have no info either way).

I'm pretty sure that Bruce will have UK dates to sell, so, going by the announcement of dates today, I reckon his UK dates will be announced tomorrow or Thursday, and then there's a couple of weeks for sales until a Glasto announcement on 2nd Feb.

Glastonbury is getting confirmed all over the place now...

Neil?

using those posts on those forums as the basis, I'm very happy to now mark him as a TBC.

However, I know it's the case that Glastonbury still don't have all their headliners signed and sealed (tho I don't know if it's one or all of them), so it's still a possibilty it might not happen. But I'll be exceedling surprised if it doesn't.

Have had Darkness on the edge of Town on all day, bloody amazing album. Have noticed that Bruce plays Badlands quite alot just before the encore, fingers crossed he does so at Glasto (Well as long as he plays it!!)

Looking forward to the album release on Monday, love the 'The Wrestler'...just beautiful stuff :D

I will be so annoyed if its madonna before bruce. Like really annoyed. Because ill be forced to listen to her. Urgh. Urgh. Urgh.

If anyone knows Eavis. Has his phone number. Once had a drink with him. Please. Get him to see common sense and tell madonna to f**k off back to the states where her whorish arse belongs.

I'm sorry but bruce springsteen and neil young headlining on different nights would be completely bullshit. I really don't mind the "older" acts having a night of their own (usually sunday) but if blur, neil and bruce actually end up headlining different nights, wheres the room for upcoming bands around at the moment? If this would actually be the case, the energy and reputation the festival recovered from the choice of acts last year would vanish, and it would probably go back to where pensioners sip their tea in their caravans waiting for "the boss" to play his "good ol' heartland rock!"

Don't get me wrong I dont mind all these older acts but c'mon, wheres the appeal to the younger folk of the UK?

Came straight home from work today and paid the rest of the ticket off, still seem's to good to be true. Never thought i'd get the chance to see him again so soon after last summer, it's gonna be totally amazing. Still seem's like there's a few gaps for some more uk dates.. i'll travel anywhere to see him to be honest - f**k the credit crunch. I'm guessing it's gonna be a best-of setlist? If it's not three hours i'll feel robbed! Lucky day indeed!
