Alcatraz
On a similar note, wonder if Neil or mr Bizzare know anymore about it. What are the plans for the Leftfield film release. Is it going to be nationwide or is it a one off showing?

Is it going to be nationwide or is it a one off showing? I don't know - there was nothing about further showings in the press release for last night's London premiere. DiscoDolly
Hes currently the biggest ticket in the world. If they announce him as the headliner before he announces any other Euro gigs, Glasters will sell out within the hour.

Sipperana
I know this'll sound a bit nasty and I don't desperately like to disagree with you, but - no. I'm of the opinion that the likes of J. Blunt should never play at Glastonbury. The reason for this is that Glastonbury is not in my (less-or-more esteemed) opinion a place for people who purchase their music at Tesco's along with a jar of Mellow Birds and half-a-pound of sausagemeat! It appears I have rediscovered my teenage music snobbery...

Alcatraz
1st stage I ever worked for with the WBC, and yes it is sad, however this will push them to expand and grow bigger & stronger, mark my words!

sifi
I don't think ME and crew would be so insensitive to have the Leftfield replaced by something sponsored by the scum that are Baccardi peeps .... edit : Oh, and Mellow Birds is still available. My local retailer sells it, I noticed the other day. Edited December 5, 2008 by sifimaster

Whilst I do not want to see the Leftfield replaced by the Bacardi Bar , I quite enjoyed my time in there over the last few years at V festival. I do think the word scum a bit harsh. Must admit I did enjoy my time when the Bacardi Bar was over by the Other Stage back in 99 or 2000 , thet had a lovely old sofa , it was so chilled. I can still taste their cocktails now ! Mardy
At the moment, I'm thinking this is a damn shame as I really like the Leftfield and it feels, you know, sort of right for Glastonbury. But yeah, i'll wait and see what happens in June, given that I loved the changes this year (Trash city/Shangri La and that). Joshuwarr
I PUT FORWARD THE IDEA THAT THERE SHOULD BE ANOTHER BROTHERS BAR! PUT THE SECOND BAR WHERE THE LEFTFIELD WAS
krisskross
At companies which act like Bacardi do, putting profits in front of lives. Ditto Nestle. Look I'm not damning anyone for doing anything, I just think it would be insensitive to replace Leftfield with something like that, given the Leftfields history and campaigning angle.
