Normally you just pay for the car park upon arrival. I think it was £10?

how far is it to walk from the car park to the campsite roughly?

was it tough getting in and out the car park like taking more drink in for example? i know there were some regulations last year, but wasn't sure if they were actually put into practice?

I arrived early last year so I've no idea what its like later on for getting parked, but I'm not aware of any problems with parking (perhaps somebody can correct me?).

Its not far from the car park to the campsite (10-15 minute walk?) but the campsite is spread over a large area, and you could walk for about 30 minutes depending on where you want to camp.

There were no problems getting in/out of the campsite last year, although they did threaten to not let anyone back in with drink but that didn't materialise.

we got there about 4pm on the friday and there were loads of spaces, not sure what it was like after that tho.

didn't find the walk from the car to the campsite too far at all really - just made the mistake of carrying all our stuff at once and not bringing a sledge or wheelbarrow to shove it all in.

does camping open on thursday this year then?
