DaftCat
1993 was my first Glasto experience but i can't remember much of the lineup except for The Orb, Porno for Pyros, Velvet Underground and Black Crowes. Can anyone help with filling in the gaps? cheers

Homer
I didn't go until 94 but remember my mates saying they saw Tom Jones in the legends slot in 93. Nice!

Mardy
My first one, i think and I was a bit befuddled by it all. I think (if I'm not mistaking it for 94) that Ultramarine played the other stage mid afternoon one day, i remember the Ozrics, Stereo Mcs and the orb on the saturday evening, although i was well trollied. was this also the year that the Beastiies played or was that 94? To be honest, they all blur into one shambolic alcohol and drug fuelled happy time
Homer
Beasties was 94 as I was there though I didn't see them. Big highlight: The Cure. Also remember sitting there ignoring Johnny Cash waiting for James (what a complete twat!). Remember in 95 having to choose between Prodigy, Massive Attack and Oasis. I saw the beginning of MA and the whole of the Prod. I believe history will judge me better for that decision than the Johnny Cash one! DaftCat
did the cure play '94? i saw them headlining in 1995. the prodigy in 1995 were the best band i've ever seen at Glasto. my mate went off to watch oasis instead and said they were shit! Mardy
Of course, Johnny Cash. None of my mates would come with me, and I really wanted to go as I'd grown up with his music (my Mum was a big fan). So I went on my own. The pisstaking I got from the lads... Course, now, every single one of my mates claims to have seen him there, lying bastards...
