good plan Lucy, and well volunteered! :D

I reckon easiest thing would be for us all to arrive on the saturday afternoon, and then get a shopping trip done then. I'm gonna book the taxi to avebury for 7pm by the way, just havent done it yet.

Had veggies in mind (even tho original post may not have indicated it!) Uber bean farty casserole/chili probably first night and some kind of vegematarian pasta based affair the Sunday maybe.

Thanks for the support...and a big slap to the head for those of you that forgot about the need for feeding! As mentioned earlier this is mainly to keep us all in good health before the filthy onslaught of 5 serious days in a field (the previous 4 have warm showers and therefore do not count!) ;)

And it's a big fish and chip feast in central Glasto Town Tuesday lunchtime at one of the best chippies in the country! I will NOT be cooking that one.

I do a mean scrambled eggs btw!

If I deffo move to Exeter sometime in the next week, I'll be heading to Pewsey station [edited by request]. Is that en route? Website mentions a bus so that's what I am currently planning on using but if there's a lift going past, I will gladly take up space in a car!

ah yes, and we're looking at about 30mins from campsite to avebury I guess. I will book it to ensure we arrive at 7pm,

Paul mentioned earlier that he was planning to arrive at 4pm, and therefore thats the time I was going to aim for.

Is everyone else arriving about that time?

We want to make sure everyone arrives at about the same time so that we have enough time to sort out food before we have to get the taxi.

Sorry just catching up with this after a stormy weekend in Derbyshire :D

A possible option would be to fill one car to as full as possible with luggage and then distribute the people across the other 4 cars? Afterall there's going to be minimal of one biggish rucksack, tent, sleeping bag and rollmat per person, not to mention personal booze allowances.

Ok boys and girls, the taxi, or rather the 25 seater coach, is now booked! :O

It will pick us up at 18.15 on sat, and pick us up again at 05.45-06.00am on the sunday.

I've paid a 50% deposit, so 1/2 of you owe the money to me, and the other half to the driver when he picks us up.

But we can sort all that out on the day, Its £10.60 each by the way as iirc there are 17 of us.

Glad its now payday, so I could get that sorted. Roll on 20th June!

Since we are getting lifts etc sorted out, best try sort this out too.. 5 weeks on Saturday :)

How many people who are staying at Avebury have cars? And how many are going to Old Oaks on the Monday

I count 5 cars (I think), so with 17 of us camping there, plus I believe FFC and her partner are not, so that would leave 15 of us between 5 cars?

If so then we will all manage no problem to move west towards Glastonbury on the Monday morning.

Hiya. Just wondering, if we're included in this car plan. It's fine if not, I just need to know. I'm trying to sort out our train tickets and I don't know whether to book a train from Pewsey to the general Glastonbury area for Monday or not.

Also, it looks like our choices for arrival at Pewsey on Saturday are either 13:40 or 16:20. Earlier seems better to me, given the mini-bus booking. There's a 'Wiggly Bus' which goes to the campsite from the station which seems to leave on the hour, so I think we could get that to the site. The link is here if anyone else needs it.

Less than a month now! Yay!

Yeah the numbers I posted is for all of us (15) who are going to Glasto on the Monday. We will manage somehow to fit everyone/thing in

Also am sure someone might be able to collect you at Pewsey if need be (I don't know when we will arrive though so couldn't guarantee it)

No idea mate.. maybe call them? I would say safer to book in advance though.

Has everyone else booked?

I booked for myself and llcoolphil
