Just wondering if anyone has heard any rumours on who might be playing this year? Bella is one of my favorite festivals and i had a awesome time last year even though the line-up was not great imo.

I'm wondering how the credit crunch will effect Bella.

I suppose it depends on the cash flow of the owners. It could work to their advantage - perhaps more people will spend the summer in Britain due to the weak pound, and maybe people will be attracted from across the channel for the same reason. Lets face it, a weekend at Bella is much cheaper than a fortnight in the ALgarve, and twice as much fun.

We're buying a new house this year so were gonna do Bella then stay in the North of Scotland for a week or so with the kids, from the way the questionairre was worded i imagine that the Council are starting to become aware of the trend this festival brings to the greater area in general via festival goers who turn into holidaymakers, i also imagine they will have huge council back up this year after the success last.

Would love some sort of hint as to who would headline as this is gonna be my main festival this year.

There was a rumour that Travis and The Levellers will headline this year. Not sure how much truth there was in it thou.

The Levellers asked to play after their performance at Loopallu last year.

I would think Travis might do Loopallu this year due to having to pull out late last year.
