You could have a FUNK tent at Glasto but would have to plan the line up so you could tear the roof of the sucker, this would then allow Dr Funkeinstien to land the Mothership....But there again it would have to be such a wide tent but it might be so wide you cant get around it etc etc Funkadelic wise.....

First ever gig was Parliment / Funkadelic at Hammersmith. 1978 ( i think ).

oh yes , plus one for the funk .

used to have a tape from the mid 80's , ( i think ) of trouble funk at glastonbury, think one of the last tunes was drop the bomb, sounded like it was the party . would be unbelievable to have that sort of stuff blasting from somewhere .

Just a little heads up for all you funkers out there. Birmingham's PREMIER funk night 'Sweat' is returning on 21st February (You can check out Cheesedip's vibe on AstonFM.com Thursdays @ 7pm, although due to transmitter work, not tonight) Sweat is on Facebook as well. Can I also recommend the Parkdale Funk show who can be found online and does a great podcast packed full of the funk. Keep the fire burning, I thank you.

PS. This is rather good too

At last years Bestival, we were moved twice by security, got absolutley drenched for two days and had a river of mud flowing through our tent.

Despite that George Clinton and Parliment still managed to be the low point of my weekend!
