Both these bands have albums due out before the festival. Reckon PSB would be a great headliner for the Other Stage or 2 before the headline at the Pyramid. P

I would like to see the Pet Shop Boys assuming they didn't clash with the probable headliners of Springsteen, Young and Blur.

I reckon they would be very entertaining.

I didn't know what a big PSB fan I was until I saw them at Glast about five years ago. Ones of those bands where you realise you actually know all their songs (they played a greatest hits set). They were second top on the Pyramid which was a v good slot for them.

Taken just before they came on, checking the lineup, I guess this was Bloc Party.

I remember the Pet Shop Boys Wiki said they were playing in 2009. No reliability whatsoever etc. The irony is when persuading people to go Glasto I say the line-up means nothing it's just a bonus if it's good but I do spend a lot of time without Glastonbury searching desperately to find line up info.

I'd never have put myself down as a PSB fan, but saw them a few years ago in Red Square and they were phenimenal. As somebody else said, the sort of band where you know every single song they play, and you'd never realised it before. If they played, I'd go along I reckon

Played 2nd to Travis, IIRC. Imagine the indignity, the 2nd greatest British band of all time followed by every shade of aural beige.

I could see the mighty PSB's playing 2nd to Blur on Sunday night. And Royksopp possible Dance East headliners? All jolly exciting.
