themuel
Madness in Lost Vagueness was one of my best Glastonbury moments ever so this is very very good news! Although I feel like maybe they should be on in the dark? Having said that, a sunny Sunday after Rolf, oh yes. timespeedsup
Could this be the 4th headliner that Lord Eavis thinks is still a cat in a bag? <awaits tomorrow's news>
ampersand
Nah, it was Saturday, I think. I trecked there for 90mins in the mud, only to find out they'd just finished so turned tound and walked back! That '07 mud was brutal... Sunday on Pyramid would suit me down to the ground, too! eFestivals
have been unable to get very far with checking this out as yet, but indications so far are that what the original poster has seen is indeed accurate.
Mardy
Hooray. I probably hadn't thought about Madness for about 10 years, but just listening to them now, and the thought of a field full of people going mental to them is bringing me out in goosebumps. Could be superb
disasterplan44
LV in 07 was quality, the only issue I had was how packed that tent was. Hopefully this won't be an issue in 09.
Homer
The announcement that Madness are playing a park in Gloucester on the Friday must mean they're nailed on now - hopefully Sunday afternoon on the Pyramid!
bertieb73
Wow..The Nutty Boys playing would be incredible. Just need to add The Specials now and I will skank till I stank... Poor use of the English language, but I needed it to rhyme...

If they can make sure the Beat are on site, could they manage a Ska treble?
Boris
Seeing them in Lost Vagueness in '07 was one of my top 10 Glastonbury moments. We were in the Casino when the set started and wandered into the tent. Only thing that would have made it better was all the people on outside the tent being inside. strudders
I saw them in 86. If I remember correctly they had a big inflatable white ball. I will be looking forward to them.

disasterplan44
Okay, cheers for that. I've not kept up with the "I think we've established that" news of 4th headliner. But fab news it could be Madness.

Pinhead
Pama International and Skatellites? Now yer talkin! I am confident that they will be playing Sunday, probably though not definately, on the Pyramid. This news should be confirmed soon as its pretty much out the bag now amongst their die-hard fan following. Many of them are already arranging tickets for Glasto now for the first time just to be able to see them play such a venue.
