i'm having trouble with this 4th headliner concept

I don't see why people are arguing and whining about it to be honest. At the end of the day, it means that Glasto will have four bands worthy of headliner status, which is great!

And even if it turns out to be some bollocks like Arctic Monkeys, there's still plenty to go and enjoy.

I don't really get your argument. I was saying it was "marketing style bollocks" and your reply is: "on the condition that they're given equal billing in terms of the size of their name on the posters, T-shirts, etc." Does this not come under "marketing style bollocks"?

Also, I said the band (oe co-headliner), whoever they are, would come on for 60-90 mins, play some songs, chat inbetween then f@ck off! To which you replied: "last year's Leonard Cohen appearance at Glastonbury was probably, to all intents and purposes, a co-headliner, in as much as he had a 90 minute slot."

So, either, Leonard filled his 90 mins with some improvised street theatre instead of "playing some songs and chatting inbetween" or you're actually agreeing with me!

My point is it means nothing to the punter - it's a vanity title and it all comes down to semantics.
