Most Overated Band

Oh man, the list gets bigger every year...

Sterophonics

Rod Stewart

Arctic Monkeys

Beautiful South (had to endure their entire set in order to stand a chance of getting a glimpse of REM in 99)

Muse

Kings of Leon (although I like them)

Am I the only person in the universe who thought that Oasis were actually quite good last time they played? I thought Noel and Liam seemed really edge with each other, which wasn't a bad thing, the band sounded tight and they pretty much only played the ones I like (nmost of Defintiely Maybe, a few off Morning Glory and a "best of" what came after). I thought the atmosphere was really gloomy (not a bad thing), which added a whole other dimension to their music I never realised was there before. And shouting "WHAT'S THE STORY MORNING GLORY" with 100,00 other people is one of my favourite Glastonbury moments. Perhaps it was something I ate.

Disagree with the Artic Monkeys, I think they are one of the brighter, modern, british bands going at the moment. Although they're certainly not complete, the second album was a big step up from the first.

Kings of Leon were a top band until the latest album. It's a sign of bad music when 'R 'n' B' kids started playing them on the back of the bus.

Most over-hyped band however would be 'The Killers' for me

For me the most overated band on the Pyramid has to be the Killers. Utter rubbish and overhype.

Then, The Fratellis

Then Coldplay

I dont understand why people hate the killers sooooooo much?! Yes they hada bad day in 2007, but every band has bad days!!! Their sales alone, for both albums and tours, shows that they are not crap! I enjoyed their set in 07!

I was thinking of their top 3 position on the Pyramid on 2005!! No chance was I going to see them again in 2007!

Sales don't mean anything, its how you as a person like a certain act or piece of music, I could name a thousand and one acts who make great music but do not get the sales they deserve.

Fair play to you liking the Killers though, not going to disrespect someone for their music taste. :P

See, i loved The Killers at Reading. I think they always put on a brilliant show! I admit Flowers' voice is sometimes all over the place, but thats because he gets too excited. When they are playing well, they are brilliant. Ive seen them a number of times, once at Glasto, once at Reading, and some other times indoors. I thought they nailed it at Reading, and everyother time they have been brilliant, except for Glasto.

I agree with Cohen, he was the true headliner!!! What a legend! Just for getting up there at his age.
