Originalshez
Earlier on Wednesday the better. We were there for 9.30 last year and were straight in, no problem.

Bradders
Wednesday, you don't book a 6 day holiday and show up half way through do you?
LRW
My aim is to get there and have the tent set up by 11am, and sat outside the Brothers bar at lunchtime wednesday. The lastest I ever turned up was 7pm on the Wednesday, and I felt like I had missed out. The earlier the better. And I think thats the only response you will get on these boards... snipe
Wednesday is certainly the best but Thursday isnt the end of the world. Having arrived on different times on the Wednesday for 4 years I did a Thursday evening arrival last year and I didn't feel Id missed much. I suppose it depends on if you are meeting people who were there from the Wednesday and if it was your first time at Glastonbury.. both of which would probably make you feel worse about it. jollynolly
Wednesday for gates open, I arrived on the Friday once, it was like arriving in the middle of Calcutta having to lug your gear through all those people!
