cypress hill played in 2000. i would have only been 10 back then but its on youtube their performance. and am sure beastie boys must have played in the past?

there is always hip-hop at glastonbury on various stages, but mainly in the dance village.

Example was ace last year.

I also enjoyed imperial leisure (not strictly hip-hop but also ace), beardyman, Lupe. and Dizzee.

Tbf mostly good UK stuff which is what I prefer.

Looking forward to seeing who plays this year, I reckon wiley, roots manuva, although Im still hoping that The Roots will play again (I missed them the year they played), by far the best live hip-hop band around. Love 'em.

The roots would be a must see for me. Snoop would be good as would a return for cypress hill

yeah, there's always hip hop at glasto but not usually the household names.

check the dance village line ups, they'll usually be there. i've seen DJ Format & Abdominal there and Saian Supa Crew (french crew, have you heard anyone rapping in french? it sounds so fluid and natural)

wanted to see kool keith last year but there was just so many clashes he fel victim

Kool Keith was AMAZING. Did loads of Dr Octagon stuff, properly one of my top Glasto sets ever. The weather was glorious, everything was hazy and sparkling.

There's always some decent hip hop stuff going on at Glasto, lots to be found on the dance tent. I remember watching Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples and Roots Manuva on the same day years ago. Just keep an eye out closer to the time for the mighty clashfinder and all will be revealed
