Sorry to bump an old-ish thread. Just wondering if, now we have more of an idea of what the line-up looks like, anyone has any recommendations of ska/reggae from the list that we might not have heard of...

I would strongly recommend seeing Yes Sir Boss, they're relatively local for me and I've seen them a few times. Absolutely wonderful in my opinion.

Listen to "Not Guilty"!

Also looking at this thread from before, the Communicators do seem jolly good, I'd definitely check them out.

Of course Babyhead have appeared on the list, they're are always fun, The King Blues will be amazing... Smerins Anti-Social Club I have really enjoyed in the past. But a little lacking on the reggae front sadly  , I'm still very much hoping for Fat Freddy's Drop!

I would love a bit of reggae. I had to listen to damien marleys "Welcome to Jamrock" over and over cus at Reading last year becasue it was the closest thing to reggae my mate had on his ipod and reggae is hard to come by at reading.

I already mentioned this in another thread...

But was just wondering if there are any good rumours of any reggae bands following the spectacular Jimmy Cliff and Eddy Grant last year? And of course the Marley brothers in 2007...

I'm extremely happy that it seems like the Specials and Madness are likely to be there, but I thought it would be fun to discuss the possibility of some more bands that might fulfil my love of off-beats and desire to skank?

I've heard some of The Easy Star All Stars stuff and I gotta admit it's pretty good. I'd love to see them play!

Last year was all about the reggae for me. I'd love to see Burning Spear, Lee Scratch Perry, Andy Horace (outside of Massive Attack ), Toots, Black Uhuru, Jimmy Cliff again....!

I'm not sure if they still play on with a different singer but Sublime too....

It's the perfect Glasto music imo.

And just seen this: "As you arrive at William’s Green during the day, a new circus stage on the roadside will provide knockabout fun. The area also features a host of shopping and eating places, plus The Bandstand (playing from Wednesday) and a new sound system, Reggae Delights, both just round the corner."
