eFestivals
They'll be another Wychwood announcement on Monday, which will be made exclusively on eFestivals. I believe that it will include the Friday headliner.

marooned
...then, I deffo WOULD buy tickets - but, for now, Cheltenham's way down the list!
mr blue
Well well Super Furries, that was unexpected. Not really sure if they're my kind of friday night headliners but they put on a good show the couple of times I've seen them in the past. The other 'exclusive to efestivals' additions (Alex Cornish, Ella Edmondson and Orchid Star) were in the full page advert in Songlines which came at the weekend. I'm a subscriber you know

timespeedsup
SFA are my cuppa, but moany-whinge with The Stiffies playing too, all seeming a touch too indie this year Still a good catch though, nice one.
marooned
...Super Furry Animals - was it 2 years ago at The End of the Road Festival, that one of the Welsh 'axe-men' chucked his guitar into the audience. How 'rock n'roll' is that, boyo? Mind you, it might have been someone else - the memory is befuddled......... Pretty diverse line-up, it has to be said - but it ain't set me wallet on fire YET! marooned
...glad you've solved that problem - told you I was befuddled. But I can remember they were pretty damn good - am I right in thinking the front man wore a crash helmet - WHY!!!!!
mario man
Yeah, for the last couple of tours they've been opening with a track called Slow Life and Gruff seems to enjoy wearing that crash helmet/alien mask type thing for that tune. I still miss the yeti costumes they had a few years back! Edited February 18, 2009 by mario man
