Limpet
WTF? How was I 'ripping'? You asked a question and I gave you an informative answer. You can pay to get your hair washed in the salon if you like, or just use the taps and sinks like everyone else. Touchy
nina3d
No, please please please don't use the taps / sinks... or only at non-peak times if you really really have to. It's better with mud in it anyway!
gemsie1904
Do many people wash their hair just at the taps? It's my first year for Glasto too! I'm going to go on the Wednesday morning and was wondering how my hair would cope till Monday ha ha

MikeyB37
Fill a water carrier at the taps and wash your hair back at your tent = Free! From what i've just found through Google it looks like at least one of the onsite 'salons' were charging £30.00 for a wash & blow dry last year
Glitter+Vodka
i think my hair would be worse if i washed it coz it would just go like a pure bush without using hairdrier and straighteners. Hat for me i think!

verrymerry
I use the taps but move over while washing for others to use. I hate having dirty hair, I just can't stand it. There are solar showers in the greenfields though and some in the kidz field. Never gone that far, the cold taps are fine
fraz
Last year my girlfriend used this stuff from boots where you spray it on your hair an brush it through. She said it worked well in stopping it being greasy.
Messy
I'm a massive nancy when it comes to my hair. Usually spend 45 minutes on it every morning. Going five days without washing it or dousing it in hairspray is going to be a massive deal for me. No, I'm not having it cut. No, I'm not gay. sadwitch
There was one near the bandstand and in 2007 there was somewhere that would let you wash in their stall with bubbles etc for £5 but they got washed out. And there's the showers. But I recommend taking a large water carrier and some shampoo and getting someone to tip it over your head on the saturday morning.
