barbienightmare
On the net-weather forum I use there is a ongoing disscussion on the Glastonbury forcast, if its of interest to any one wanting to follow a constant update of weather predictions for Glasto. a few members on there are generally a better option than the Met office ( obviously there are some who post complete crap too ) Glasto NetWeather disscuson

hairofthedog
Outlook for Days 6 - 10 (Sunday 21/06/09 to Thursday 25/06/09) Confidence is high for high pressure dominating across SW England bringing predominantly dry conditions through the outlook period. However, there is likely to be a good deal of cloud at times, especially at first in western areas, bringing a little drizzle and, despite the high pressure, there is also a low probability of showers at times, too. Temperatures, generally normal or warm in the cloudier areas but very warm at times in sunshine. My work forecast from the Met Office. I can handle a bit of cloud. Updated at 6am this morning. emmmmma
How does everyone on this forum know so much about weather? Do a lot of meteorologists attend Glasto or is it attending Glasto and the accompanying need to know about the weather that has made you all experts?! I have got no idea what most of you are talking about!

amfy
I am actually finding these good forecasts scarier than the bad ones. Not because I don't want it to be good but I am terrified of the gut wrenching disappointment that I'll feel if it all goes pear shaped. I feel sick! Craig_G
Is it me or has the forecast gone from Sunday all weekend (yesterday) to cloudy all week (now)?
Sam Crawley
Good news folks, Metcheck have rolled their weather tombola but it's still looking good. More cloud about than yesterday's forecast but still dry.
General Lee
Almost the most important day ?? Certainly not as important as any of the others to me I could be lugging my crap back to the car in a storm that makes 2005 look mild and i'd be laughing all the way if we've had 5 sunny days
Cooter
If things stay as they are then tonight I predict a slight downgrade from Jackone for the whole fest to a 7. And Steve Murr will probably stay the same on a 7. I just can't see it going any lower than that at this late stage, so all is still good. Nearer this weekend we will be getting some definite forecasts for what really is going to happen next week. Kind of makes this whole thread redundant really! Aragorn
yep just waiting for the 06z to come out - the ECM's were reasonable I think we are getting near the reliable timeframe soon
