kloot
apols if this has already been posted BUT it looks as if the gods will shower is with kindness... Met Office latest: "UK Outlook for Thursday 25 Jun 2009 to Saturday 4 Jul 2009: During the end of the first week and into the first weekend the weather across the United Kingdom is expected to be largely fine and settled. Most places will experience sunny spells, although there will be a continuing threat of persistent low cloud affecting some eastern and northeastern coastal districts. The afternoon temperatures away from these eastern coastal areas are expected to be either warm or very warm, but perhaps hot in places. Then as we move into the second week the current indications are that the weather will be more unsettled and less warm, and cloudier conditions with either showers or more prolonged rain are expected to spread to many areas at times. However, there are also likely to be some brighter periods mixed in. Updated: 1258 on Sat 20 Jun 2009" That backs up the latest unisys charts which show dry dry dry through the fest including next weekend. Cooter
Sounds like the low has been pushed further away into the next week, then again the high for the fest is not going to be that high, but weatherwise any sort of high will do as long as its not a low. howlin_pete
Most of the rain metcheck are predicting is bellow 1mm, would hardly notcie it was there. Its just the end of the festival thats the worry, otherwise we are downpour free at least
Cooter
Metchecks latest shows the Tuesday before being quite wet but after that we're heading for high temps with just a quick refreshing shower now and again. Interesting because its the first time Metcheck have forecast temps that high for next week. Could they go higher? http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/7days.asp
Mikeydread
A small amount of rain will dampen the Glasto dust bowl made worse by site traffic - but lets not have any more than that please!

derfman
come on guys this is exciting, i keep getting those hot images in my head of casually walking around the sunny site then it kinda showers for a bit, but not enough for people to care then it clears up and everyone "whayyyyyyyys"
puppetmode
in 2007 the rain for The Who was the final straw to an appalling rain marred festival. This little set of showers will be nothing like that, if they do infact come and Blur will bounce through any thunderstorm. Here's to a very sunny with the occasional light shower festival. The best thing is, we will be showered with rainbows!!!!! yay
