I will be absolutely made-up if they manage to play. My poor suffering missus has been hearing me banging on since last Glasto that next year the acts I want to see are....

I don't think you imagined it. On the grounds I don't think I imagined it, and I'm fairly sure that both of us didn't imagine it.

There might be some truth behind it.

I saw Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at Benicassim a few years back and was blown away by him. His records don't really do it for me though, it's gotta be live.

I remember reading something similar as well. I would really, really love for Cave and Eavis to kiss and make up if that is the case, as they are well due a return to Pilton, it would be fantastic, and probably make my year.

It was an interview with Eavis in one of the programmes. In it he was asked if there is anyone he wouldn't want to play the festival. He answered, Nick Cave, Paul Weller and The Fall. Of course they may have kissed an maked up for all I know.

I don't know what Nick and Paul did, but Mark E Smith from the Fall earnt his ban for slagging off The Levellers on the main stage, before they were due to come on. Seemed like a fair call to me, but Mr Eavis didn't like it.

Sorry to ditto but yeah Weller played 2007 and was dire... so if they have fallen out hope they make up. Have Nick cave tickets for Brighton but was to ill to go gutted...
