am I the only one thats gutted about the new announcements?

the flaming lips? I've never even heard of them lol... far from what we were expecting on the friday nite.

the wombats!???... shouldnt even have to say anything bout that haha.

erol alkan and david guetta should be good tho ;)

overall tho a very dissapointing announcement? =/

The Soft Bulletin is one of the greatest albums of all time. You should be counting yourselves lucky that you have one of the best bands on the planet headlining. They have such a huge sound which at times sounds almost orchestral and they take anthemic to a new level. They'll have you singing along even if you don't know the songs.

Plus they did the greatest cover of Bohemian Rhapsody EVER:

Flaming Lips are sensational live, they are perfect for headlining the Friday night.

All in i think this is a very encouraging announcement, they are clearly thinking outside the box a bit rather than just booking the same bands as every other year...a la Titp

f**king chuffed about crookers & brodinski.

i'm happy with the announcement. i was going whatever the line up anyway but this just makes it better.

can't see why there's complaints, flaming lips are supposed to be shit hot live, and wombats were good when i watched 'em.

As far as dance acts go, im not that impressed with the announcements so far. Brodinski,Crookers and Erol Alkan are decent, but i think more needs to be added in that field. I am happy with Supper Furry Animals, so it should be good all around ;)
