20 Year Anniversary

Indeed, it will be 20 years since I first set foot on that sacred hallowed turf known as Worthy Farm when I go this year. During that time, I have only missed 1 - that was due to an operation I needed to have on the Friday of Glastonbury (some things have to take precedence!)

Whilst I'm very much looking forward to marking my historic and continuous support of the daddy of all festivals, I am a little bit annoyed that certain friends of mine couldn't be arsed getting tickets. Actually, it completely came down to laziness on their parts and unfortunately when it dawned on them that this years festival was as popular as ever, it was too late.

Still, I'm going to have a wicked weekend. Orbital will be there after all, as will Blur. Funny how these bands were just about there when I started going and there they are again! Life has these cycles I suppose.

Will anyone else reach a milestone during this years festival??

I've never missed a certain other 'commercialised' festival- V - whether I've been in the UK or working abroad

However I've always said I've wanted to go to Glastonbury hence attending this year for the first time, 4months before I hit a milestone birthday ! And hopefully it won;t be the last !

both my daughters to Glasto but they are giving it a miss this year because they reckon Glasto is for oldies!
