Do V Festival always release a 2nd ticket allocation?

I know they usually do, but looking at getting 2 non camping tickets but possibly not getting them on the 6th March

Any ideas???

They normally do, yes, a few months later once the initial rush has died down you tend to see them floating about on official sites (seetickets for example). It's not normally announced so need to check on a regular basis

to be fair, I'm amazed more festivals don't do it this way...it cuts down a lot on people paying over the odds on ebay etc...its a great idea

If recent years are anything to go by then V will put tickets on sale on the 8th of March and then declare that tickets have SOLD OUT in record time. Then a week later if you check on See Tickets or Ticker Master you will see that the sold out signs have gone and this will then follow a pattern up untill August with thw sold out sign reapearing and dissapearing.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM ANYONE THAT IS NOT LISTED ON THE OFFICIAL SITE. There are still lots of scam websites out there and more pop up every year. It would trully be a glorious year if we don't have any one put up a post saying I bought tickets from a site called www.I'm-an-idiot-and-bought-tickets-off-this-site.com and am worried they might not turn up.

There really is no need to buy off these scumbags or off ebay as there are always plenty of tickets. Last year at Staffs I think they were still selling tickets on the Saturday morning at the box office.

Not sure about day tickets, but the weekend camping tickets were available last year nearly every other week, I think we bought ours from see tickets about 2 weeks before. We'll probably do the same this year.
