Last year, Groove Armada instead of The Verve.

I'd watched Elbow in The Queens Head & by then I was a broken woman & just could not walk to the Pyramid stage. I like GA , but I've seen them several times before & would have loved to see Verve. I was so knackered I was asleep on my feet, willing them to finish so I could go & sit by the fire at our tents.

I try to never regret my choices, but that one's been bugging me ever since.

Eddy Grant was indeed amazing. It was just the right time of day, everyone was in a good mood, no nobbers in the crowd and my mate was lying on the floor having a panic attack after dropping his first ever pill. A bit of Gimme Hope Joanna sorted him out, and then we trotted off to see The Verve (there may have been stuff in between, but frankly i cannot remember how that evening went, except that it was ace).

But I still kind of regret missing Leonard, especially as there doesn't seem to be any proper footage available of his set.

Those oldie acts are my biggest stumbling block really. It's always so hard to guess whether they'll be any good. If Simon & Garfunkel show up this year, there's no way i'm missing out. They'll probably be rubbish now. Can't win.
