Elbow won't be playing this year

unfortunately the success of SSK has ensured they now have a fanbase made up of loads of people who dont have a clue about their older stuff, meaning their live show is massively SSK heavy. A real shame, I reckon.

Fraid not. Any Day Now, Newborn and Scattered Black and White from Asleep in the Back.

Cannot describe just how good the show was and it was Guy's birthday as well so he got a nice Scottish singalong.

Guy did ask the crowd who had seen them before and it was probably about 50/50. Can see their logic in playing the bulk of SSK cause those who don't have the others would have left in such a high they would have gone and bought the first three albums on Saturday morning, or if 20 yrs younger than me they would download them

yes sorry I am not criticising the band at all, and SSK is so brilliant then it doesnt detract from the show at all that most songs come from there. I'm made up for them that they now have loads of new fans.

I am seeing them this weekend at wemley arena (crap venue) and I have been praying for powder blue. It's been far too long since I saw that live!
