3rd Announcement 7pm Thursday 19th

According to the main site 3 more acts are being announced through the normal means at 7 tomorrow... Hope the last headliner is there, but really hope its not Manson, that will really undo all the good work the last 2 announcements have done, plus there seems an hell of a lot more people on here against him than for him, and wasn't this year supposed to be about listening to the fans!!

Really better not be God Forbid, Manson & Anvil otherwise Neil can just do the rest of the announcements weeks before they do!!!

I'd like to see Heaven & Hell appear at the festival....Sabbath w/Dio are one of the old school line-ups that never got round to playing the Monsters of Rock shows @ Donington...so i think with a new album just aound the corner it would be a fitting gesture to have them on the bill.

they'll want that to sell out first, but Im certain they'll be at Download too

They are more "cult" type though than a lot of bands already announced - but they could be for either. I reckon they'll headline whatever they play.

I'm only going by Simple Pan last year tbh and NFG are arguably bigger and more successful It'd be a travesty if SP were allowed to headline the second stage and NFG were denied it.
