three of the world's most exciting purveyors of dance are set to host the BOLLYWOOD ARENA this summer in a triple whammy of electronic brilliance.

The all-star line up features two of Scotland's most visionary institutions synonymous with first class sounds and downright good taste, and a French label counterpart whose dancefloor slammers are elixir to a generation.

On Friday, SOMA RECORDS get the party started with a dazzling array of international excellence from the esteemed SOMA stable including FUNK D'VOID, THE BLACK DOG, MARK HENNING, OCTOGEN, MR COPY, HARVEY McKAY and DECIMAL. This pioneering Glasgow-based label is one of the most respected in the business, and Soma's inaugural RockNess celebration promises to serve a superlative sonic feast.

ED BANGER RECORDS, the stupendously excellent Parisian label assumes control on Saturday with DJ sets from BUSY P, DJ MEHDI, DJ FEADZ and CRAZY BALDHEAD. As one of the most talked about labels around and home to a raft of generation-defining acts including Justice, ED BANGER RECORDS is the undisputed label-du-jour. Its parties are as legendary as they are hip and selective, and this RockNess exclusive is a major coup by organisers and further testament to the festival's kudos.

There is surely no finer way to close the Bollywood Arena on Sunday than with an exceptional soundtrack courtesy of the SUB CLUB. For one night only, this legendary Glasgow institution, widely regarded as one of the world's most influential clubs and celebrating a milestone 22 years at the top, will be bringing its inimitable magic to the Highlands. HYPE ft BOOM MONK BEN, KINKY AFRO ft MAFRO, NUMBERS ft JACKMASTER, COTTON CAKE and a live set from SENSU will whip proceedings into an appropriate frenzy before the mighty OPTIMO and SUB CULTURE ft HARRI, DOMENIC and TELFORD.

read a few places now that justice've said they arent't playin any gigs in 09. Well chuffed all the same that there's gonna be an Ed Banger arena. That's a result big time. No too bothered actually bout justice. There some wicked nu fresh tunes comin out that label. well worth an online rummage
