saw him last night in london - his solo stuff is much better than I expected. Not enough babyshambles/libertines stuff played for my liking though

Anyway, my mate is part of his crew and I went back stage and had a (very) little chat with the man himself and finished by saying so "I'll see you at glastonbury then" and he said "yeh see you there mate"

I dunno if he meant in a playing capacity or in a spectating capacity though!

He's always there so I would say it is as good as certain that he'll play. Other stage maybe? or headlining one of the smaller stages? who knows

ah sh*t, really? i was hoping for another solo show. His spot at the Park last year was one of the hghlights of 2008 for me.

it seems as though he's going under the solo moniker, but retaining most of babyshambles to play behind him. Though i didn't go last night (kinda wish i'd bothered)- graham coxon replaced mik whitnall (about blinkin time), but drew and adam both played- and apparently stephen street played guitar on a few tracks.

If coxon continues playing with them i will be more than happy. Mik was a terribly limited guitarist.
