you take all things into consideration peoples might lose there jobs, just need the money, not like lineup, friends didnt get tickets, other plans. I would deffo put it around that possibly more. I might be wrong but money is tight for most people at the moment. I think it wont be as hard as everyone thinks to get a resale ticket. Feel free to disagree its just what i think. I would like to know what you guys think aswell

So whats going on with local tickets is that included?. we shall see i just feel that people will feel the crunch

there will be a batch of tickets put aside for those who register for the locals tickets. Any locals tickets that aren't taken up will be made generally available.

Other than that there's just the tickets that had the deposit paid but where the full amount wasn't paid by 1st Feb ..... now, while there's some rumours going around in some uninformed places that there were a lot of tickets that weren't settled, it's bull. The numbers were small.

As for people feeling the crunch, when more is being spent on the high street than ever despite this "financial crisis", it's insanely hopeful.

So does that mean that everyone who applies for a local ticket will get one and leftover for the public. So if thats true i would have a ticket no prolom?

I don't know how the locals ticketing works exactly - tho it would certainly be the case that they'll be a finite number of tickets, so from that, if the locals uptake is greater than it normally is then it's quite possible that some will lose out.

As for whether you'd get a ticket no problem, that's first dependant on whether or not you qualify for the locals tickets. Seeing as you don't seem to know anything about them, then I'd guess that you don't.

I can't see there being that many and I don't think the crunch will have that much of an affect, people that really want to go will always find a way.

I paid for my tickets 3 hours after being made redundant for the second time in 6 months, I've been out of work for 2 months and one of the only things keeping me going is the thought of going to Glasto in a few months where I can leave everything at the gates and have an amazing weekend in the sun!!

I know a few other people who are going who have also lost their jobs but still can't wait to be there.

I think between 5,000-10,000 seems about right and I bet they will be snapped up.
