Just come back from seeing the Chiefs in Sheffield - absolutely brilliant......again! Every time I see them they get better.

Ricky Wilson really knows how to get a crowd going - lets hope the long standing rumour of the Friday on the Pyramid gets confirmed!!! It'll be a Friday night to remember!

Liked them in the early days but got bored of them very quickly

However i agree he's a good front man in a live capacity and could possibly be persuaded to watch them if i wasn't doing anything else

Seen them a few times since they were a support band and correct Ricky Wilson is a decent front man. Think it's just that they seem to play most festivals, most years and people are just a little bit bored seeing the same stuff year in year out. T in the Park it would seem have reprinted the 2007 line up for this year, which does get on your back a little when you go every year.

I wouldn't listen to their music anymore, but I would go and see them live given the opportunity. Quality live sing-along band. Wilson is a great frontman, really works the crowd.

I for one will be as far away as possible, I can't stand them, their albums are bland toss with a couple songs with catchy coruses thrown in.

I have never watched them, not into them at all. But have heard good reports so may give them a watch this year if nothing else is going on!!!

I hate them, truly dreadful band but I hope they are playing along with a couple of others like Keane, stereophonics, kanye west etc to keep the hordes happy and to stop the kids whinging about the oldie headliners. A large amount of the glasto going public just seem to love this sort of shite!

I can't believe how tame the backlash is, when I saw the thread I thought there would be loads of comments about how shit they are.

Personally I think they're a great live band, seen them 3-4 times now and they've always put on a great show and get the crowd going.

wouldn't buy an album, but live they were fun, not particularly great or anything, but fun.

Doubt I'd go to see them again tho; didn't this year at werchter, instead choosing to leave my mates and go watch justice who were wicked.

Saw them once at V2005 just after the first album and they were great.....but nothing that they've done since would make me want to go and see them again....it'll be a Friday night wander for me just getting back to the Pyramid for NY
