cartonio
hi to everyone, i'm sorry if this is a repost, but i can't find anything similar. I was reading mr. eavis statement confirming bruce springsteen as an headliner and i noticed this sentence: "He’s also a Barack Obama supporter, which makes two headliners in a row who’ve backed the new President". Now: i know that neil young is an anti-bush and a democrat, but i don't remember he backed obama during his campaign...could it be that mr. eavis is talking bout u2? i mean, they got a new album too... ciao, antonio

russycarps
I know! "We've had two years in a row of Obama supporters!" Really?? No shit sherlock. I think its slightly longer than two years. When was the last time a neo-conservative republican headlined glastonbury?

sifi
I've only heard the single "Kinky boots". I reminds me of sub-terrenean homesick blues by he whose name can only be mentioned in whispers.

the_hedge
Get On Your Boots has also been linked to an Elvis Costello song, cant remember which one. Wouldn't surprise me if it's like a Dylan song - Bono and Dylan have spent a lot of time together over the years.
