He has also said that he has booked the Friday night headliner for 2010 at the NME awards..

Glasto '10 headliner done

Michael Eavis has booked a headliner for next year's Glastonbury, after negotiating the deal at the NME Awards.

Eavis told PS: "I've booked the Friday headliner after talking to someone's agent an hour ago. It's the 40th anniversary in 2010, and we're also hoping to seal a really amazing anniversary headliner soon."

Eavis refused to confirm that Blur and Neil Young are headlining this year.
